A 20th Century Preacher

Welcome!

Not sure how you found the site? Were you searching or just browsing? In any event you have arrived!

George Walter Govier North was born in Bethnal Green in the East End of London in 1913 and died in Blantyre in Malawi in 2003. Early in life he was led to Christ and, in due course, became a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: initially in the UK and then in many other countries.

During his life and ministry, he was known by a number of different names and titles including: Pastor North, Mr. North, GW,  Wally North, brother North, George North and no doubt many others! All these in addition to the ‘family’ titles of husband, brother, dad, granddad, great granddad and uncle.

The biography of G. W. North is now complete and copies can be obtained by contacting us by email or by using the order form. Methods of payment are included on the form, price per copy is £8.99.

This site provides a brief introduction to GW’s life and ministry. The links provide sources for obtaining cd’s of his ministry as well as some of  his writing.
